Sculpture Garden

A unique opportunity for local artists to showcase their inspiring and creative artwork in an open-air environment of 11.5 acres of garden and natural bush overlooking the township of Healesville.

The sculpture garden at Mt Rael is a new and exciting concept just launched with some selected pieces from Ian Westwood. Ian crafts artworks from the detritus of rural and urban living – materials like steel, corrugated iron, barbed wire, timber and stencils.

His work, often quirky, uncomplicated and unique, sways between the functional and ornamental.

Despite his fondness for industrial aesthetics, Ian’s work is perhaps most at home within the organic environs of gardens, parks and country estates. All enquiries about the current artworks on Mt Rael grounds should be directed to John Knoll at Mt Rael.

It is our wish to support and foster relationships with all artists who would be interested in displaying their work and encourage you to come and walk around the property to enjoy this very special exhibition.
